Wickham Park is a non-profit, private foundation whose property extends into both Manchester and East Hartford, Connecticut.
The park contains 250 acres of gardens, open fields, woodlands, ponds, picnic areas, sports facilities, and other attractions.

Wickham Park is proud to host the New England Overall Flying Disc Championships, a unique event that will showcase
a variety of flying disc / Frisbee oriented sports competition. The event will use several areas of the park, including the park's
well received 18 hole disc golf course that was installed at the beginning of the 2004 season.
Events include:
Disc Golf - Two rounds on the 18 hole Disc Golf Course. The game is generally played with set of specialized flying discs, and
is scored exactly like traditional "ball" golf, whereby the object of the game is to complete the course in the fewest throws possible.
Self Caught Flight (SCF) -
SCF actually consists of two separate but related events known as Maximum Time Aloft (MTA) and Throw Run Catch (TRC).
SCF requires a single person to throw a disc into the air and in turn catch their own toss. In MTA the emphasis is on the amount of time the disc
hovers in the air before the catch, while in TRC the emphasis is on the distance covered between the throw and the catch.
Discathon - Discathon is a 1km race on an obstacle course that requires runners to throw their disc past or between objects such as trees and signposts.
Distance - The Distance competition measures the furthest throw from a launch point. A competitor will be allowed a series of throws, and the best one will count in the standings.
Freestyle - Freestyle is one of the original disc sports. A routine of acrobatics and disc handling skill is performed between a set of partners to music.
A panel of judges determines the winner.
Double Disc Court - A game of quickness and strategy involving two square courts and two teams consisting of a pair of players. The game is akin to a fusion of tennis and jai-alai played with Frisbees.

$75 Men's and Women's Divisions
$50 Junior's under 18 Division
Players Package for the above divisions includes a custom BEAST golf disc, a custom 100 mold, minis, and entry to the Saturday dinner. Trophy discs will be awarded to top finishers in each event and overall.
$25 Recreational Division
Players package in the recreational division will include a tournament t-shirt and entry to all events. Trophy discs will be awarded to the top overall finishers only. This division is intended for the player who is relatively new to disc sports.
$25 Single event competitor
Players package for the single event competitor will include a tournament t-shirt. Trophy discs will be awarded if you place high enough in the event you enter.
$25 Dinner/Live Music
Dinner/Live Music at Marco Polos Restaurant is included in the Men's, Women's and Junior's under 18 divisions. Recreational or Single Event competitors, as well as guests and volunteers may gain entry to the Dinner by paying this fee.
Live music will be provided by Hartford's ultimate Funk Blues Project, the XY ELI BAND.
