Wickham Park is a non-profit, private foundation whose property extends into both Manchester and East Hartford, Connecticut.
The park contains 250 acres of gardens, open fields, woodlands, ponds, picnic areas, sports facilities, and other attractions.

CT STATE OPEN RACE
Friday, November 1st
This CIAC sponsored
cross-country meet involves the runners from the
CT Divisionals Race. This is an opportunity to
watch the state's outstanding runners in a
spectator-friendly environment. During the races
the Log Cabin is open for refreshments and
provides a warm fire in cold weather.

MIDDLE SCHOOL CHAMPIONSHIP
Saturday, November 2nd
This is the largest junior
high invitational in New England, with over 1,500
runners. These races give young runners the
experience of running with large crowds and large
numbers of competitors. It also serves as an
introduction to the course for those who continue
cross-country participation in high school. During
the races the Log Cabin is open for refreshments
and provides a warm fire in cold weather.

Wickham Park, a non-profit foundation, was selected by our local Macy's store for the Love Your Park Program! Between March 7 and March 31, Macy's will match donations, dollar-for-dollar, up to $250,000 to benefit local parks at participating stores nationwide. Choose from gardens that feature ponds, fountains, unique gazebos, and our famous Moon Bridge.

Gardens inspired by England, Italy, and the Orient are among the eight ornamental enclaves amid these 250 green acres. The playground and nature center attract youngsters, while the picnic tables and grills offer the perfect pit stops for any age. Plus aviary, bird sanctuary, tennis and volleyball courts, software diamonds, hiking and biking trails, and 18-hole disc-golf course.
